Thanksgiving Point Farm

Oh boy! I know that it sounds really bad but I have am really backed up on my blogs! I have so much to post that it is kinda overwhelming! But at least I am getting the pictures up right? Let's get on with it...

With Nicole's Preschool we went to the farm. Ethan was so excited to ride the ponies! When we got there though, they were just starting to saddle them up. We did not have enough time to wait for them so we ended up going on the wagon ride. This is Ethan trying to be happy about it:

He really wanted to ride the ponies. I guess we will just have to go back!

When we first got there there was a lady holding a chick out for the kids to see. She was telling us that they are for sale and you could take them home if it was alright with your parents. Who does that? Honestly, have any of you ever gotten a chick for Easter or at any other time? What do you do with them? They do grow up to be chickens, I assume, then what? I definitely do not need another living thing in my home... But of coarse Ethan hearing that he COULD take one home, wants to take one home..."it could sleep in my bed." Um, no I don't think so!

Just thought I would throw this picture in... I hope it does not for tell the future!

For real, who is that lady? You cannot tell a 4 year old that there is a possibility of taking home a chick! Ridiculous!
