Well, it is the end of an era. They call it Preschool Graduation but I think of it more as a beginning, a beginning of worries for a mother. Gone are the days of gathering all of my chicks under my wing. I have to let them leave the nest, only for 2.5 hours of the day, mind you but during that time I will fret until Ethan is back home with me.
Ethan did Graduate from Preschool this Weekend. I can not believe the school year is over. I had so much fun with his Little preschool. I appreciate so much the time each one of his teachers put in to their lessons each week. Many of you know that Kristin, Lori, Shelly, Gretel and I made a little preschool for our kiddos. I think that it worked out great. It took some getting used to for the kids and teachers but overall I think we did a great job and had a lot of fun with the kids.
Graduation was so much fun. We made the kids hats and had them walk in and take their seats to the "Graduation Music". They each drew a picture and told us their favorite thing about preschool. Lori taught them the funnest songs that they love to sing but I have no idea on the words. Ethan has tried to teach me but just gives up and says that I have to ask Lori.
I put together a little movie/slide show of all the pictures we had collected throughout the year. I think it turned out very well if I do say so myself. I am so proud of Ethan. I know that he will go off to kindergarten and be just fine,me I don't know about. He is a great friend and a smart little boy.
Thanks again to all of his teachers, You are the best!

Ethan is so cute and looks like a very proud pre-school graduate!
P.S. If you can somehow find an important relief society calling for me I would gladly accept! :)
So cute! So, did you cry? I think every time I hear that graduation music I get all teary eyed! Silly.
So cute... You're pretty much AMAZING, Extraordinary, Wonderful, Awesome, Incredible... Practically Perfect In Every Way!?!?! Need I go on? Fun to see you've updated your blog... something I have still neglected to do! I'm hoping to do it tonight actually :) I hope you had a good weekend... Sunday sucked... I knew there was a reason I didn't want to go and didn't feel good at all. I can't believe they took Natalie from us :( Josh did say that he realized that he hadn't talked to Renae or me when Natalie told him we were going to hate him after this. Grrrr... I'm sorry to see you had a horrible Sunday, what else happened? Well Happy Tuesday :)Marie
Looks like fun! We had our graduation today, always loads of fun!!!
Your kids are getting so big! I don't even know if I could ever let my child leave the nest. She doesn't care but I already have anxiety over going to school, and it is still three years away. By the way Emilee has so much hair. She is so cute.
I fear I have the same separation feelings towards my kids. I have confidence in then, I just, well you know how it is. I am trying to decide whether to sign him up for Preschool and what not and it is stressing me out! This was great what you ladies put together, GREAT JOB!!!
I love you guys! I hope you are all here when Sean goes to Preschool (you know that will be in 3 years!) Who knows, maybe we will all buy a house in Illinois.
