It's off to work he goes! Yes my friends you read correctly. I sent my Husband off to his first day of work today.
We were blessed last week to have gotten a job offer from a company called PGP. Aaron's brother Matt works there and he was able to pull quite a few strings and got Aaron hired on. I am so grateful to Matt, we are most definitely indebted to him, I think we might even name our third child after him.
It is a fantastic, well paying job, we are very lucky to have it. Aaron is nervous, he wants to know everything and be good at everything right away and he is afraid of letting anyone down. He is determined to study and learn all he can so he can be worthy of this job.
Me on the other hand, I am hanging in there. I am so glad that Aaron is back out there. It will give him a purpose and a sense of worth. But he has been with me for the past ten months, at first I was going crazy with him around so much, now I have gotten used to him sitting in his office. Many times I would tell him I was going somewhere and could he do this and this for me, now I need to figure something else out and plan ahead.
Please don't take this as complaining, I am not, I have just got to switch my mind set. Things that we did together, putting the kids to bed, dinner, and clean up have again become a one person job. With Aaron going back to work, I guess I in a way have to go back to work as well. I have been so tired lately with this baby that if I get clothes on the kids and dishes washed I feel like I have accomplished something. So baby, we gotta suck it up and pull our weight!
Thank you to all of our friends and family who have helped us out through this rough time. We could not have done without the notes of encouragement, money, and listening ears we received on a regular basis. We are blessed to have you all in our lives.
This might have just turned into a long post but I can not not thank my Father in Heaven for his love that he sent to us. We don't know why Aaron was let go of his job and we don't know why it took so long for us to find a job, but we do know that we were watched over. Every month we were able to make our bills, yes we had to do a lot of talking and telling our story to a lot of people to get them to accept lower payments and our credit is in the toilet, but we were able to keep our house and cars. The heat and AC was on and food was on our table. We were looked after. My testimony has grown so much in the past few months having to fully rely on the Lord and believe that he will watch out for us and provide what our family needs.
I would love to share more of my story but I just don't feel like this is an appropriate venue for it. But anyone who is willing to listen I would gladly share my feelings with you.
Oh boy, this was supposed to be a good news post, so why am I crying now? Excuse me while I get a tissue...
