This weekend was Ethan's first T-Ball game. I sure felt old. I remember going to my brothers T-Ball games and now I am taking my own son to them!!
Ethan's Team is very entertaining. I didn't know if I was watching T-Ball or Football. We'll get to that in a minute. Ethan's Team is the BULL FROGS I did not get a say in the name. We played the Red Hawks this week. Ethan was so excited to play, he kept asking us how many more days until Tball? We got there and he couldn't understand that if he was on the Bull frogs why was there a Bee on his jersey? How do you explain the word "Sponsor" to a four year old?
Well in TBall, the whole team gets a chance to bat, there are no outs and evidently no keeping track of the score. Good thing because we only had 9 people on our team and the other team had 13. If everyone Bats in an inning, you can do the math, we would have lost.
It was so fun to watch the boys hit the ball and then take off running, they did not care where they ran they only heard the coach say run, so they did. They eventually ended up on first base. It was funny because when the game started there were 4 coaches on the field, I thought how come they need that many? I soon found out it was to point everyone where they needed to go.
Then comes defense. Our team was a bunch of football players. EVERYONE ran to the ball and fought for it, even though they were all on the same team. When one boy came up with it all the parents would yell, throw it to first! But the boys were not going to let that ball out of their hands, they just ran it to first. I have not laughed so hard in my life! Here is the picture of Ethan Tackling his friend blake for the ball:
We had a long talk on the way home about sharing and Team work. All in all I think it will be good for Ethan, hopefully he will learn to share by the end of the Season. If any of you are interested in some laughs, here is his schedule, all games are played at Nolan Park in the Ranches.

How fun! T-ball looks fun! Ok- my collages on my blog is put together in a program called Picassa (a free google download). I highly recommend it. That was fun to learn a little more about you in that other post!
Ok, 4 words: HIL-AR-I-OUS! I am thinking about putting Taj in soccer this summer. Could be interesting.
That is way more exciting than t-ball for us last year. I was totally cracking up.
Hey Alisha! Love your blog especially your Ethan quotes! Last sunday he was chewing on his sweater and he told me it was water flavored. Very funny!
