Sledding

We have had so much snow out here. Each time that it snows Ethan begs me to go sledding. It always is snowing on days that Aaron has to go to work and I really didn't want to venture out and take both kids sledding by myself. I was telling this to a friend who was in the same boat so we decided to try it together. I am glad we did!

We went to a hill that we was close to our house. In the Summer it is known as the Silverlake Ampitheater, in winter it is a great sledding hill. Ethan loved it! He went up and down and up and down for about an hour. If it wasn't so cold I could park a lawn chair at the top of the hill and Ethan would not leave. Emilee, well not so much. I made the mistake of putting her in front and all of the snow came and hit her smack in the face. She didn't want to go down again!! Oops! She cried each time I tried to even get her near the sled. But Ethan was in heaven! I ask him how come he was such a great sledder, he said "My Dad taught me!" It was a lot of fun and we can't wait to go again!

I love your pictures, it seems as if Jocelyn and Emilee are a lot alike, Jocelyn screamed her head off when we tried to take her sleding, although she does love to wear her snow offit everyday.

I gotta say I am with Emilee on this one: sledding=cold and not fun!
